Sebastian Martinez

Sebastian Martinez, a 2021 graduate of Booker High School in Sarasota, Florida, is a dedicated youth organizer, queer advocate, and proud son of Mexican immigrants. Since the age of 15, he has worked tirelessly to educate and engage young people across battleground states, focusing on bridging gaps in voter access and developing a comprehensive civic education program aimed at every high school in the county, with hopes of expanding it statewide.

A consistent voice at Sarasota County School Board meetings since he was 16, Sebastian champions the rights of teachers, students, and workers, while also advocating for Hispanic issues and protecting voting rights.

Sebastian’s vision is to empower Gen Z organizers and passionate young individuals to take on leadership roles within the party and in elected offices. His commitment to community service is rooted in his early experiences assisting his mother with agricultural fieldwork and his current role as a handyman alongside his father. In the afternoons, he mentors and coaches gymnastics, sharing his passion with hundreds of families and children.

Sebastian Martinez is dedicated to shaping a better future for his community and future generations.
