David Dean

David relocated to Sarasota with his wife, Jackie, from New England in 2019. They both started volunteering for the Sarasota County Democratic Party and joined the Executive Committee as Precinct Captains for Precinct 133 in 2023. They also helped coordinate early voting in the 2022 and 2024 elections in East Sarasota. David submitted his name and was voted in as SCDP Secretary with the 2024 reorganization and plans to support precinct organization and other areas of interest along with retiring from (salaried) work in 2025 as a software engineer in the life sciences field.
